Our famous stepped head pipes now have an OEM-correct O2 sensor port (bung) welded in and ready to plug the factory EFI closed loop sensor to. The port is positioned in the same location and exit angle of the factory version. We have also ensured that your sensor is seated the same distance as the factory version. A set of bung plugs have also been included for pre-07 bikes that are not running the later closed loop EFI system.

A nice set of pipes overall September 15, 2008

I just put a set of these on my 2007 softail about a week ago. I also installed a Thundermax EFI controller along with an H-D stage 1 air filter. There are no flat spots in the accelleration and the low end torque improved over the stock parts. These pipes have a deep rumbling sound with the installed baffle that should satisfy any Harley enthusiast. I have already ridden more than 400 miles and the pipes don't show any signs of blueing, even on the exposed parts of the inner header pipe. My only dissapointment is that the finish had a lot of fine scratches in it. They show under artificial light a lot more than in sunlight so they still look good out on the street, but for the cost of exhaust systems for motorcycles I think the finish should have been better. Overall I'm satisfied with this product aside from the finish.
